Nancy Nolan with the Rick Ravenscroft Group

Whidbey Island treasure Nancy Nolan ventures into the music of seasoned singer/songwriter Rick Ravenscroft and his Trio for an evening of Rick’s original music and classic covers from the 70’s and American Songbook. Jazz, blues, folk, and Americana brewed into a new and refreshing sound. Rick, Bill and Steve, have been working and playing together as a tight original singer-songwriter band for twenty years. They asked Nancy to join the band a little over a year ago, to add her jazz stylings and spirit to the group. She’s still a jazz artist at heart, but singing some of her favorite 70’s covers along with Rick’s wonderful original song stories, is a rich blend and taps into the beginning core inspiration of her music career.
