DESCRIPTION:Whidbey Island treasure Nancy Nolan ventures into the music of seasoned singer/songwriter Rick Ravenscroft and his Trio for an evening of Rick’s original music and classic covers from the 70’s and American Songbook. Jazz\, blues\, folk\, and Americana brewed into a new and refreshing sound. Rick\, Bill and Steve\, have been working and playing together as a tight original singer-songwriter band for twenty years. They asked Nancy to join the band a little over a year ago\, to add her jazz stylings and spirit to the group. She’s still a jazz artist at heart\, but singing some of her favorite 70’s covers along with Rick’s wonderful original song stories\, is a rich blend and taps into the beginning core inspiration of her music career.

DESCRIPTION:Tango Cowboys return to Ott & Hunter with a new lineup to perform fun-loving music from America (North and South) – specializing in vocal tangos and cowboy songs from the 1930s and 1940s\, trail songs from the great cattle drives of the 1870s\, and classics by Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins. The Tango Cowboys tell the stories of songs directly to the audience\, inviting them to journey from the open range of the Wild West and the small cafe in Buenos Aires. For this engagement\, the Tango Cowboys are Rich Hinrichsen (vocals\, guitar\, piano)\, Darian Asplund (sax\, clarinet\, flute) and Katy Webber (vocals).
